Breeding: 9

Six felt comfortable for the first time in his life. He was at a nice place, was fed daily, and his new Alpha didn't have any intentions of breeding ever and was really nice. His Alpha was just as scared of everything as he was, only better at hiding it, so he'd never felt so relaxed around an Alpha before.

His comfort only went so far. His Alpha was telling him that you could do something called 'swimming' in the big hole of water that he called a 'pond'. He'd never heard of either of those things before, and the thought of going into a giant pit of water for fun freaked him out.

He could see two other Carriers at the other side of the pond, watching them. When he had pointed them out before, his Alpha had just shrugged as if that was normal. The other two were gone, and the black Alpha that had approached them was far at the other end of the enclosure with two more Carriers. There seemed to be a dark blue and a white one near a clump of trees, but they seemed to be ignoring everything else.

"Come on, Six, swimming is fun. It makes your fur clean. Well, your hair, you don't have any fur."

"G-going into a big thing of water is fun? What do you do?"

"Um, you float around, I guess. I'll show you! Take off your clothes."

"E-eh?!" It startled Six as his Alpha stopped at the water's edge and removed his shorts, laying them on a rock.

"Well, uh, you don't have to, but they'll be all wet and, um, you don't have other clothes yet. You, uh... could wear mine while yours dry, but um, they're just super big... At least take off your shirt. No one'll care...I think."

"O-okay..." He felt nervous, but he pulled off his shirt and put it down next to the Alpha's shorts. The Alpha stepped into the water. Six reluctantly followed, eyes widening at the feeling. He felt a bit conscious of himself, he was still dangerously thin and pale. It shocked him that his Alpha kept wading into the water until he was over his waist. He looked back at Six.

"I can show you how to float, um... if you want..."

"F-float?" Six echoed. He didn't know how someone as big as the Alpha was supposed to float. He was pretty certain even someone as small as himself would sink immediately.

"Yeah, like this." The Alpha easily got into position floating on his back. Six stared at him. "If you don't want to you can hold onto me and try swimming. Just kick your legs and uh, that will be it." Six didn't think he'd be able to float, so he nodded and waded over to the Alpha.

Climbing onto him slightly, he secured a good grip on the Alpha's red fur. The feel of the water still freaked him out. He didn't feel brave enough to try swimming, he decided he would try it another day.

Six's next big shock was looking over a while later and seeing that his Alpha had fallen asleep while floating.  He took this chance to finally get out of the water. His hands were cramping from clenching for too long. He sat down on a warm rock to get dry. He was almost completely dry once he saw that his Alpha was waking up. Once awake, the Alpha seemed surprised that Six was gone, but relaxed seeing him out of the pond. He dunked himself under the water and popped back up, shaking himself. His fur hung in eyes. He trudged back to the edge, plopping down onto a big rock and spreading out under the sun. Six copied him, but sat back up as the sun got his eyes and rubbed them.
