Breeding: 10
It was two weeks before Georgina decided that the groups could go out whenever they wanted again. Solomon and Orange's scratches were all gone and she had managed to snatch Gigabyte and bandage him up for the countless time since he'd been there. Getting him had been a hassle. He hated being grabbed by owners and the only way to keep him calm was to bring Pixel with them.
Georgina didn't trust Pixel at all, he was their most dangerous Carrier. All of the others were harmless, Machete only hurt people by accident, but Pixel's venom had killed four workers the first time he was brought to the stables. They had had no antidote at the time and the venom was fast working, shutting down the body as it flowed through the bloodstream. Another worker had died recently from a bite when she was sent to take Pixel's egg from him to put in the incubation room. Having never had an egg before and not knowing that the eggs were taken for a while, he had blindly attacked her.
She shook her head to forget about the scene, shuddering slightly. She had been against bringing Pixel to the stables, but it was that, selling him and Gigabyte to another terrible owner, or putting both of them down. She couldn't put the two through that, and had reluctantly agreed to ship them in. Placing them in isolation for just an hour had been a nightmare, and she finally had them moved to Solomon's habitat.
That reminded her, she had been checking up on the progress of the eggs and there was one that was almost ready to hatch. She was debating on whether or not to bring it out. It was Tino and Orange's first egg, but Tino was still recovering from a c-section from a little over a week before. His latest clutch had been too many eggs for him and he was still forbidden from getting up or moving too much. She didn't know if it would be a bad idea to make him fuss over an egg while he needed to rest.
Checking her tablet, she saw that it wasn't due to hatch for another week. She could wait a few days, just to make sure Tino healed properly without stress.
"Miss Georgina!"
Turning around, she saw her coworker. "Hey Tina!"
"We have a problem."
"What is it?"
"The orange Alpha and his Queen are in the infirmary."
"What happened?!"
Tina sighed. "Orange tripped over Tino and scraped himself up, and Tino is just being checked over but they're screeching at each other and Orange won't let anyone touch him. Can you come and calm them down?"
Georgina stood up, putting her tablet down on her desk. "Alright, I'll do my best."
"Thank you!" The two women walked towards the building. After a few steps Tina chimed, "They're really annoying, you see? It's freaking out all the other animals in the infirmary, so that's why everyone told me to go get you."
"I see..."
"The new guy Franklin told me to do it, but I'm only good with birds, you know? If it was the lammergeier that was causing problems, I'd be good, but-"
"The what?"
"Gerold! The bearded vulture? The one who eats bones?"
"Oh... That huge one." Georgina had seen Tina handling the vulture and compared to a small woman like Tina, Gerold was enormous.
"Yeah! I could handle him, but Floks are your specialty and I'm a bird girl! Bird person, handler, caretaker, ah, you know what I mean."
Keeping up with Tina's quick speaking and energy was hard, she was practically bouncing with enthusiasm about everything. It was tiring to be around her, like your life was being sucked out of you to raise her endless amount of energy and talking. The petite woman quieted down once they arrived at the big square building, where already Georgina could hear the two Floks bickering.
Swinging open the door to the examination room, she sighed. Tino was on the examination table, lying down and swinging his legs. Orange was upright, his arms flailing, and both of them were yelling at each other. She stood there for a second, taking the scene in. The two didn't notice her. Their new worker, Franklin, was standing by the shelves, staring at the floor in misery. Georgina saw that he had a scratch on his wrist. He left as soon as he saw her.
Tino looked absolutely fine, and was still following the orders of laying down, so examining him would be quick and easy. But Orange... She went to the sink and grabbed a cloth. She ran it under the water, wrung it out, and stepped up to Orange. She grabbed his hand and started wiping it off before he had time to react. Seeing that she wasn't hurting him he shut up and stared at her. He tentatively held out his other hand once she finished. As she wiped off that one, he inspected his cleaned hand. She stepped back to the sink to run the cloth under water again and grabbed bandages. She wiped off his face and loosely wrapped up his hands.
That was so much easier than she thought it would be! The Alpha was staring at both his hands, flexing his fingers. As he was occupied with his hands, she moved to Tino. The brown Carrier was watching his Alpha with a look of distaste, but turned his attention to Georgina as she came close. He watched her cautiously as she lifted his sweater to check on his stitches. They were perfectly intact, and healing quickly and well. The biodegradable strings seemed to be dissolving already, so Tino could go back to normal soon.
A thought popped in her head. Since Tino was healing so well...
She went back to the door and peaked out. Tina was still standing there, where she had dragged Franklin (who was still bleeding) into a completely one sided conversation.
"Tina!"
Franklin darted away as soon as Tina turned away her attention. The woman turned back, "H-hey!!"
"Tina, I've got a job for you!"
"But I'm no good with Floks!"
"Trust me, you're the best one for this." She whispered the job to Tina, who nodded excitedly and hurried off.

The Alien Queen's Offspring
Sara’s eyes open slowly as she awakes from her sleep. She manages to become fully awake and finds herself in a dark cave-like throne room. She has no recollection of anything, all she remembers is heading to bed and being picked up by a strange light. ”Ughh,” she groans, “where am I?” She tries to move around but finds her arms and legs tied down to the ground. Suddenly, she hears a voice from the shadows. “Welcome, human.” “W-who are you,” Sara exclaimed horrifiedly looking around. The voice reveals itself in front of her; it was a tall, almost humanoid figure with multiple tentacles on its back. “I am the ruler of my species,” she declares, “and you‘ve been selected for a great honor.” “W-what,” Sara asked shaking. “You have been chosen to carry my offspring,” the queen informed. Sara begins to sweat out of fear. “What are you talking about,” she asks. “I am one of the last of my kind, and I am no longer in the reproductive stages I once was,” she explained, "My servants and I

A Boyfriend Named Comet (Ch 13)
Kelly’s slow rise back to consciousness was tinged with disorientation and dizziness. She could barely even remember who she was, let alone how she got here, or where ‘here’ was. Her eyes regained focus, and her senses returned slowly. At first, she saw nothing, because it was a little dark. But the sunlight beamed in through the window illuminated the room once her eyes adjusted, and she reached up to shield her face from the glare. Her arm went up, and stopped -- something was tied around her wrist. Her other arm raised. It too was tied. Details flitted in through her vision. She was in a doctor’s office, at least she thought so. She was sitting on some kind of chair, and she raised her head up to look down at it. It was a medical chair, with stirrups, and her feet were planted in it so her legs were spread wide and high. And, weirdly, her belly felt sore and heavy, and her foal was still in her body. “Unnh,” she groaned, too loopy to feel truly alarmed yet. But that all went away

A Boy's Story Chapter 10
Chapter 10
Jen packed her stuff back into her bag. I helped her as Jason made our lunch. "Can't I stay longer Damien?" She asked while she looked at me with puppy dog eyes. This is when I regretted teaching her that move.
"No Jen, I have something to do today. And you have school tomorrow; I told mom I would have you home by 12:00. It is already 11:00. You are going to come again on Friday." I zipped her bag closed. "Now get teddy, we are going to go have lunch then you are going home." I said with my most authority like voice. Jen just sighed and grabbed teddy. She walked out of the room and went downstairs.
