"All you do is sit on the couch, eat, and complain!"
Chronos snorted. "Well I can't do anything else with this kid inside me. I'm huge! And I'm not complaining, you are." He popped a handful of cheesy popcorn into his mouth. He was perfectly content with staying on the couch and eating junk food and watching TV all day. He was full term with a hybrid child that kicked up a storm, so he was fine with being completely useless.
His boyfriend Marco, on the other hand, didn't like how he was doing nothing. He thought it was extremely irritating for someone to spend time wasting their life by doing nothing and eating unhealthy foods all day.
Rolling his eyes, Chronos ate another handful and patted his stomach. The baby was squirming around, so Chronos figured that meant they liked the food he was eating. He was always craving chips and popcorn anyways. Especially the cheese flavored ones. He hadn't really liked cheese before coming to Earth, but now that he was pregnant it was his top craving. And since the bags were cheap and easy to find, he always had some.
He scoffed after swallowing. Marco was still standing there angrily. "For the record, when I came down this morning I tried to help your mother in the kitchen, but she pushed me out and told me in her own words that I needed 'to sit down and rest a lot for the little dear'. So I'm doing that and she gave me a bunch of snacks after breakfast."
"Why would you try to help in the kitchen?" Marco didn't believe him.
"For the record when I help in the kitchen I do a great job with it and your mom gives me stuff to snack on and I get to lick the spoon when she's done and that's the best. When your sister's there every other day she gives me candy if I do her part of cooking."
"You just do it for extra food. And stop eating unhealthy! The kid's going to be addicted to doritos straight out of the womb!!"
"Your sister said the same exact thing as she handed me a bag of them you two are weird."
Marco clenched his fists. His whole family was encouraging Chronos to just sit around and be unhealthy! He was the only one that seemed to be thinking about what the alien actually needed and more importantly, the baby. There was no way Chronos was getting enough nutrients for the baby by eating doritos and popcorn.
The alien rolled his eyes again seeing the angry look Marco had. "If you're worried about nutrients and stuff for the kid, I am way ahead of you. Your sister's been making me these weird smoothies that have a bunch of vitamin rich fruit and vegetables in it and they're kind of weird tasting but super healthy." Chronos picked up a cup next to him and shook it a bit. "She wants to open a healthy smoothie shop one day and I'm the taste tester. She scientifically proved to me that this is extremely good for me but I wasn't listening."
"Of course you weren't."
"I don't care. It's food. Drink. Whatever it is." He took a sip of it. "Kind of tastes like an apple mixed with a carrot and milk. I think she'll succeed with her smoothie shop. So calm down. Geez, you'd think you're the one with whacky hormones."

Although most of their relationship is complaining to each other, they actually like each other a lot! Marco just would rather finish up his senior year of highschool before becoming a father to an alien/human hybrid baby.
And guess what the baby will be named~ Polo
Characters-
Marco: A very intelligent black haired 19 year old who wants to be a lawyer. He's the senior class president and is rather popular amongst the other students despite not really liking people. He suspects he was elected because he's handsome, not because of how smart he is. Values health and work very high and concentrates on studying and keeping healthy. Doesn't really know how he got into a relationship with Chronos, and doesn't understand why they're together or why they had been together since way before the baby was conceived. Lives with his parents and his younger sister and plans to move out into a flat after Chronos has the baby.
Chronos: a turquoise alien with pale blue -almost white- hair. He was sent to Earth as an exchange student, with the intent of becoming a forensic scientist, and likes hanging out with friends more than studying, yet easily passes all his classes with flying colors. Really likes trying out new foods and wants to get into cooking. He's feisty and fun, almost the opposite of Marco. Even he doesn't understand how or why they're dating. Really excited to be a parent, not so excited about the pregnancy aspect. All he knows is that he gets a lot of food and attention because of it. His parents disowned him (knowing he would have to drop out of school if he kept the baby) so he was accepted into Marco's family and likes them a lot better.
